only. Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember O'Neal <br /> seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given#2010-1-3. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked the council to approve out of state travel for him to attend the <br /> National League of Cities conference in Washington, DC. Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the <br /> out of state travel. Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> The Mayor told the council that a second lawsuit has been filed against several county <br /> employees and officials and our City Attorney Scott Stalker. Shortly after the first suit was filed, a <br /> second individual filed the same lawsuit. Mr. Stalker notified the Municipal League to represent him, as <br /> in the first suit, not realizing that an additional fee would be billed. Mr. Stalker said he was going to talk <br /> to the League and see if they would waive the second fee. Council member Shetron moved to pay the <br /> additional $3,000 to the League if they do not waive the fee. Councilmember Bryant seconded and all <br /> voted for. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Bryant said the three stop light rehab projects, St. Louis and Meyers, Lawrence <br /> and College were set to be let March 101H <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Insell moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br /> Councilmember O'Neal seconded and all voted for. <br /> RICK ELUMBAUGH, MAYOR <br /> DENISE M.JOHNSTON,CITY CLERK <br />
