MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> JUNE 9, 2009 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in special session on June 9, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Upon roll call the <br /> following councilmembers answered present: Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, <br /> Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Richard O'Neal, and David Shetron. Also present were the City <br /> Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember Matt McDonald was absent. <br /> Councilmember Henley moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT GRANT OFFER FOR AIRPORT <br /> IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Councilmember Bryant introduced a resolution authorizing the Mayor and the City <br /> Attorney to sign a grant offer agreement for improvements to the Batesville Regional Airport <br /> under Grant Number 3-05-0004-009-2009. City Clerk Johnston read the resolution in full. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember O'Neal <br /> seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The resolution was given #2009-07- <br /> 01-R. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Shetron moved that the meeting be <br /> adjourned.
