(H) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO FINANCE THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> THE NEW FIRE STATION IN WEST BATESVILLE <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said the City Attorney did not have the ordinance ready <br /> and it will be placed on the next council agenda. <br /> (1) REVIEW PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the January paid bills report for review. <br /> (J) REVIEW NOVEMBER 2008 FINANCIALS <br /> The council was given a copy of the November 30, 2008 financials for <br /> review. <br /> COMMENTS FROM THE MAYOR <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked the council to approve out of state travel for a <br /> firefighter to attend a training school. Councilmember O'Neal moved to approve <br /> the out of state travel and Councilmember Matthews seconded. All voted for. <br /> Next, the Mayor asked the council to approve out of state travel for City <br /> Engineer Damon Johnson and Construction Supervisor Red Davis to travel to <br /> Louisville, KY to attend an equipment show to look at camera trucks. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the out of state travel and <br /> Councilmember McDonald seconded. All voted for. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked the council to go ahead and approve the <br /> purchase of the two proposed cars in the metro budget. The Mayor said the <br /> vehicles needed to be on order to get them within a reasonable time period. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to order the two police cars and Councilmember <br /> McDonald seconded. All voted for. <br />
