City Clerk read the resolution in full. Councilmember Bryant moved to adopt and <br /> Councilmember Shetron seconded. All voted for. <br /> B) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> Mr. Damon Johnson, City Engineer addressed the council regarding city <br /> projects. Mr. Johnson said everything is going good with the usual business of <br /> unstopping lines and fixing leaks. The 14th street sewer line project is almost <br /> complete and they have started the water line project on State Street. <br /> C) REVIEW PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council reviewed the paid bills report for February 2009. <br /> D) SLIDE PRESENTATION FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> Assistant Fire Chief Brent Gleghorn presented a slide show to the council <br /> on the progress of the new fire station in West Batesville. <br /> E) CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Ms. Barbara Bullard, <br /> #2009-69-1, for $200.00. Councilmember Matthews moved to accept and <br /> Councilmember Shetron seconded. All voted for. <br /> F) FIXED ASSETS TRANSFER <br /> The City Clerk notified the council of the fixed asset transfers. Unit 737, <br /> 2007 Utility Trailer from Street to Cemetery and a 1996 Idum Trailer from <br /> Landscaping to Parks. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said he had visited with Chief Deputy Steve Jeffery <br /> who said the State was going to receive stimulus monies in the form of a COPS <br />
