MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MAY 4, 2009 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in special session on May 4, at 1:00 PM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Upon <br /> roll call the following councilmembers answered present: Tommy Bryant, <br /> Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Matt McDonald, Richard O'Neal, and <br /> David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Doug Matthews was absent. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember O'Neal seconded and all voted for. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LEASE-PURCHASE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH 1ST SOURCE BANK FOR THE LEASE-PURCHASE OF <br /> SANITATION EQUIPMENT <br /> Councilmember Shetron introduced a resolution authorizing and approving <br /> the execution of an equipment lease-purchase agreement with 1St Source Bank <br /> for the purpose of lease-purchasing one commercial and two residential <br /> sanitation trucks. Councilmember Shetron moved to read the resolution by title <br /> only and Councilmember Krug seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 <br /> against. Mr. Stalker read the resolution by title only. Councilmember O'Neal <br /> moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Henley seconded. The roll <br /> call count was 7 for and 0 against. The resolution was given #2005-5-1-R. <br />
