MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> APRIL 8, 2008 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on April 8, at 5:30 PM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Matthews gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: R.L. Carpenter, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, <br /> Matt McDonald, Trula Pectol, David Shetron, Stephen Smart and Paula Terrell. <br /> Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember McDonald seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Terrell moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Smart seconded and all voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with updates on <br /> several projects. He told the council the city would be providing the labor in <br /> laying sewer lines for the new UACCB child care facility. The Water Treatment <br /> Plant upgrade has gone good the past couple of weeks with the exception of all <br /> the rain. The Wastewater Treatment Plant has had to rent a pump because of all <br />
