The city <br /> will purchase 5 acres for $25,000.00 and the land owners are donating an <br /> additional 5 acres. Councilmember Matthews moved to purchase the land and <br /> Councilmember Carpenter seconded. All voted for. <br /> The City received its one time turnback from the State in the amount of <br /> $64,772.27. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember McDonald said the Farmers Market is waiting on <br /> electricity to open. He also said he was going to meet with the Boy Scouts and <br /> have a contract for the council to consider at the next meeting. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Matthews moved that <br /> the meeting be adjourned.
