MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MARCH 27, 2007 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on March 27, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Councilmember <br /> Smart gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following councilmembers answered <br /> present: R. L. Carpenter, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Matt McDonald, Jerry Pectol, <br /> David Shetron, Stephen Smart, and Paula Terrell. Also present were the City Attorney <br /> Scott Stalker and City Clerk Denise Johnston. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Pectol seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the prepared agenda as amended. <br /> Councilmember Smart seconded and all voted for. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> None <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> **SHARON TAYLOR REGARDING HEPATITIS B VACCINATIONS <br /> Safety Director Sharon Taylor addressed the council regarding vaccinating the <br /> City Sanitation and Street workers against Hepatitis B. Ms. Taylor said our City <br /> employees are at risk to contract Hepatitis B. White River Medical Center has offered to <br /> vaccinate our employees at their cost. Ms. Taylor said there are 17 employees who <br /> would like to have the vaccination. The cost to the City would be $2,860.75. <br />
