MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JULY 11, 2006 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on July 11, at 5:30 PM <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Joe Biard presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Krug gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: R.L. Carpenter, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, <br /> Dana Mynatt, Jerry Pectol, David Shetron, Stephen Smart and Paula Terrell. <br /> Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS <br /> Mayor Biard opened the floor for comments from citizens. There being <br /> none, the Mayor closed the floor. <br /> ROUTINE BUSINESS <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Mynatt seconded and all voted for. <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> "STATE AND LILLY STREETS — CODE ENFORCEMENT <br /> Code Enforcement Officer Chad McClure addressed the council regarding State <br /> and Lilly Streets. Ms. Julie Hallmark addressed the council regarding her <br /> property at 206 Lilly Street. Ms. Hallmark said she has been taking care of her <br /> mother who is ill. She said she had cleaned up around the house and mowed <br /> her yard. She said the items on the carport have been straightened up and a <br /> tarp was up around the items. Mayor Biard said he checked with Marcus Bowers <br /> about the cost to remove the items. Mr. Bowers said it would cost $1,500 to <br /> $1,700 to enclose the carport or $2,500 to have it removed and a monthly <br />
