The Mayor reminded the council that the second Charette meeting would be <br /> June 12th at 6:00 p.m. and encouraged the council to attend. <br /> The Mayor informed the council that there would be a walk thru History on <br /> June 21, 2008. <br /> The Mayor informed the council that the City did not receive any bids for the <br /> replacement of the river walk lights. The City Attorney told the council they could <br /> re-advertise for bids or could pass an ordinance waiving competitive bidding. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Matthews told the council that the City might consider <br /> charging more of a surcharge for fuel to help offset expenses. The City currently <br /> charges ten cents per gallon. Councilmember Carpenter commended the <br /> contractors for the good job they are doing on the Harrison Street widening, he <br /> thought traffic problems had been held to a minimum. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Matthews moved to adjourn <br /> and Councilmember Pectol seconded.
