Councilmember Smart said he was asked if a North bound right turn lane could be <br /> placed at the intersection of Myers and St. Louis Streets. Councilmember Shetron said it <br /> would be a big undertaking to make the turn lane because the shoulder of St. Louis Street <br /> is not constructed for traffic. <br /> Councilmember Terrell said she was contacted about placing a street light in Eagle <br /> Mountain. Mayor Biard said they needed to contact the Eagle Mountain Property <br /> Association. The City does not put in the decorative street lights but will replace the bulbs <br /> once they are installed. <br /> COMMENTS FROM CITY ATTORNEY <br /> None <br /> COMMENTS FROM MAYOR <br /> Mayor Biard said it was again time to levy the taxes. The current rate is 3.6 Mills <br /> City General and .4 Mills Firemen's Pension. Councilmember Matthew moved to levy the <br /> taxes for 2006 payable in 2007 at the current rate. Councilmember Terrell seconded and <br /> all voted for. <br /> Mayor Biard read a proclamation proclaiming October as "Adopt-A-Dog Month". <br /> The council was given a copy of the paid bills report for September, 2006. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Carpenter moved that the meeting <br /> be adjourned.
