MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JANUARY 10, 2006 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on January 10, at 5:30 <br /> PM at the Municipal Building. Mayor Joe Biard presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Mynatt gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: R.L. Carpenter, John Cooke, Fred Krug, <br /> Doug Matthews, Dana Mynatt, Stephen Smart and Paula Terrell. Also present <br /> were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember Pectol was absent. <br /> Councilmember Smart moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> two meetings and Councilmember Carpenter seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Krug moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Terrell seconded and all voted for. <br /> RESOLUTION REGARDING PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES <br /> Councilmember Terrell introduced a resolution that will adopt new permit <br /> and inspections fees. Mayor Biard read the resolution and then pointed out the <br /> changes made from the previous resolution #2005-11-2-R. Councilmember <br /> Matthews moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Smart seconded. <br /> All voted for. The resolution was given #2006-1-1-R. <br /> STATE OF THE CITY <br /> Mayor Biard, as required by law, gave the State of City address. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard asked for approval to pay for damages that our leaf machine <br /> made to a yard sign. Ms. Julie Wu turned in receipts of$14.99 to repair the sign. <br />
