FINANCIAL STATEMENTS <br /> The council was given a copy of the financial statement for the month <br /> ending 07/31/05. <br /> DISCUSSION WITH OWNER OF PROPERTY ON LILLY STREET <br /> Mr. Clyde Lampp addressed the council regarding his property at 315 and <br /> 325 Lilly Street. Mr. Lampp said he was not aware that there was a problem with <br /> 325 Lilly. The property is currently rented to a HUD recipient. He said 315 has <br /> been torn down and he is still working on cleaning up the debris on the lot. The <br /> council was satisfied with the way the yard at 325 Lilly had been cleaned up. <br /> UPDATE ON HARRISON STREET WIDENING PROJECT WITH COUNCIL <br /> AND ARKANSAS HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT <br /> The council briefly discussed the status on the widening project of <br /> Harrison Street and the land acquisitions. The Mayor said he is waiting to hear <br /> back from the Highway Department and will call a special session if need be. <br /> PROPOSED ORDINANCE FOR APPOINTMENT TO BOARDS, <br /> COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES <br /> City Attorney Scott Stalker is suppose to be preparing an ordinance for the <br /> appointment of boards, commission and committees but did not have it ready for <br /> consideration. <br /> DISCUSSION OF SIGN ORDINANCE <br /> The council again discussed the proposed sign ordinance. After a couple <br /> of recommended changes, the Clerk said she would make the changes and <br /> deliver it to the City Attorney for review before the next meeting. <br />
