MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MARCH 29, 2005 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in special session on March 29, at 9:30 AM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Biard presided over the meeting. Upon roll call, the <br /> following council answered present; Carpenter, Cooke, Krug, Matthews, Mynatt, Pectol <br /> and Terrell. Councilmembers Terrell and Mitchum were absent. <br /> Councilmember Pectol moved to approve the agenda and Councilmember <br /> Matthews seconded. All voted for. <br /> CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCING OF TWO <br /> POLICE CARS <br /> Councilmember Pectol introduced an ordinance that would authorize the <br /> financing of two police cars with White River Planning and Development District, Inc. <br /> Mayor Biard read the ordinance in full and Councilmember Matthews moved to suspend <br /> the rules for the second and third readings. Councilmember Carpenter seconded and the <br /> roll call was 6 for and 0 against. Councilmember Carpenter moved to adopt the <br /> ordinance and Councilmember Mynatt seconded. The roll call count was 6 for and 0 <br /> against. The ordinance was given 42005-3-2. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Pectol moved that the meeting <br /> be adjourned and Councilmember Matthews seconded.
