The council said they would like to have time <br /> to read the other ordinances and discuss it at the next meeting. <br /> CODE ENFORCEMENT REPORT <br /> The council discussed 2060 College Street. Mr. McClure said the City had gone <br /> through all the appropriate stages of condemnation and is now ready to demolish the <br /> structure. The council asked the City Attorney if he found out if the City can demolish <br /> the property if it is tied up in bankruptcy court. Mr. Stalker said he forget to research that <br /> and would try to find out by the next meeting. <br /> Denise Johnston told the council that she contacted the County Tax Collector to <br /> see if any of the three liens that the City has placed on properties have been collected. <br /> She said that Mr. Kelly checked and said that none of the liens have been collected and <br /> one of the pieces of properties has been sold with the lien attached to the property. The <br /> council discussed matter and asked the City Attorney to see what the law says about <br /> selling properties that have liens attached to them. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The council was given a copy of the financial statement for May 2004. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Terrell moved that the meeting <br /> be adjourned.
