Councilmember Ford seconded and all voted for. <br /> UNSIGHTLY PROPERTY <br /> The council discussed property located at 1907 & 1909 Porter Street and 2060 College <br /> Street. Code Enforcement Officer Chad McClure said the properties on Porter Street were rental <br /> units. The houses are in need of repair. Water is the only utility turned on. <br /> The property at 2060 Case will be ready for demolition by the June 8th meeting. Mr. Von <br /> Perkey said he was still interested in buying the property. The council asked Mr. McClure to <br /> contact the owner of the property on behalf of Mr. Perkey to see if they can work something out <br /> for a sell. <br /> DISCUSS LEGAL OPINION ON CAR LOTS BEING PAVED <br /> The council briefly discussed the current city code addressing car lots not have to be <br /> paved. The council asked Mr. McClure and Mr. Stalker to have a draft ordinance ready for the <br /> next meeting for consideration to update the code in this regards. <br /> DISCUSS LEGAL OPINION GRASS MOWING <br /> The council asked Mr. McClure and Mr. Stalker to have a draft ordinance regarding grass <br /> mowing and height ready to discuss at the next meeting. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Cargill moved to go into executive session and Councilmember <br /> Mitchum seconded. All voted for. <br /> Upon returning from execution session the council made the following commission <br /> appointments. Councilmember Cargill moved to appoint Dr. Sam Cooke to the Utility <br />
