ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP; <br /> AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission is recommending that certain <br /> properties be re-zoned so as to align the zoning classification with the actual and <br /> proposed use of said properties; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has reviewed the relationship <br /> of these properties with the Comprehensive Plan; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has prepared recommendations <br /> to assign permanent zoning district classifications to said properties, and conducted a <br /> properly advertised public hearing on February 2, 2015. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSDAS THAT THE BATESVILLE <br /> ZONING DISTRICTS MAP IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> From Multi-Family Residential (R-2) to Commercial Community (C-1). <br /> FOLLOWING PROPERTIES: Property located at the Maxfields 3d Eastern Addition, <br /> Block 3, Lot 5; and Maxfields 3`d Eastern Addition, Block 17, Lot 8. <br /> IF ANY PORTION OR PORTIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE ARE <br /> DEEMED OR HELD TO BE INVALID, SUCH INVALIDITY SHALL NOT <br /> EFFECT THE REMAINING PORTION OR PORTIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE. <br /> IT IS SO ORDAINED. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have set our hands this 10`x', day of February, 2015. <br /> Attest:ILA(d - Approved: <br /> Denise o nsto Clerk Rick Elum aug , Mayor <br /> Approved as to legal form: <br /> Lindsey Castleberry, City Attorney <br />
