Dr. Doug Matthews of the Planning <br /> Commission said that the city requires all streets in sub-division to be paved, curbed and <br /> guttered. According to the City's codebook, if a lot is divided into 2 or more lots, that <br /> constitutes a sub-division, therefore, the street has to be paved, curbed and guttered. Mrs. <br /> Rutherford said this issue has been going on for over a year and asked the council to <br /> please make a decision. After a lengthy discussion, Councilmember Carpenter moved <br /> that Mr. Charles Goff pave, curb and gutter the 150 ` extension of Chadwick and allow <br /> the city to help with in-kind work and that Dylan is a private drive and needs to be <br /> chipped sealed or have some other form of a hard surface. Councilmember Terrell <br /> seconded. The roll call count was 2 for (Carpenter, Terrell) 4 against (Cargill, Gaither, <br /> Mitchum, Pectol) and 2 abstained (Ford and Watkins).
