Councilmember Gaither moved to adopt the emergency <br /> clause and Councilmember Terrell seconded. All voted for. <br /> DISCUSSION OF NOISE ORDINANCE <br /> The council again discussed with members of the audience suggestions for a noise <br /> ordinance. After the discussion, the council said they would take up the discussion at a <br /> later meeting. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Gaither moved to go into executive session and Councilmember <br /> Pectol seconded. All voted for. Upon returning from executive session, Mayor Biard <br /> said there were three commission appointments for consideration. Councilmember <br /> Gaither moved to re-appoint Dennis Butler to the Parks Commission. Councilmember <br /> Cargill seconded and all voted for. Mr. Butlers term will be 5-10-03 thru 5-10-08. <br /> Councilmember Watkins moved to re-appoint Donald Duncan to the Parks Commission <br /> and Councilmember Cargill seconded. All voted for. Mr. Duncan's term is 1-10-03 thru <br /> 1-03-08. Councilmember Cargill moved to re-appoint Mr. Keller Crosby to the Housing <br /> Authority. Councilmember Terrell seconded and all voted for. Mr. Crosby's term is 5- <br /> 27-03 thru 05-27-08. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard asked the council to approve a $1,000 expenditure in the Street Fund <br /> to purchase numbers for house and business to comply with the ordinance that was <br /> passed at the last meeting.
