AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION NO. `L - �- <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville is applying to the State of <br /> Arkansas for an Arkansas Community and Economic Development grant; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part <br /> of the application requirements ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has conducted two public <br /> hearings as part of the application process to receive and consider <br /> comments on community development and housing needs; and proposed <br /> activities; and <br /> WHEREAS , as a result of the public hearings , the City of <br /> Batesville has identified and prioritized the community development <br /> and housing needs, therefore be it resolved: <br /> That Jim Shirrell , the Mayor of Batesville, is authorized <br /> to submit an application to the State of Arkansas on behalf of the <br /> City of Batesville to undertake, if funded, the Banquet Foods <br /> Corporation facilities expansion. <br /> 1 <br /> Signature: <br /> Name : Jim Shirrell <br /> Title: Mayor <br /> Date (� -�'Z — -s 4 <br /> Attested: <br />
