RESOLUTION NO. <br /> • <br /> A Resolution Authorizing <br /> the Mayor to Approve and <br /> Sign Loans with Omega <br /> Container, Inc. , and <br /> Administrative Agreements. <br /> ` WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has been awarded an Economic <br /> Development Set-Aside grant from Arkansas Industrial Development <br /> Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, the grant is to provide a loan to Omega Container, <br /> Inc. ; the intent of such loan is to stimulate job creation for <br /> under/unemployed Batesville area residents; and <br /> WHEREAS, it will be necessary for the Mayor to act in behalf <br /> of the City in signing the AIDC grant; the loan agreement with Omega <br /> Container, Inc. , a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by reference; and other administrative agreements as are <br /> • necessary to the program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Batesville City Council <br /> hereby authorizes the Mayor to approve and sign the loan agreement <br /> with Omega Container, Inc. , and take any and all other actions <br /> necessary to assure adequate administrative oversight for the <br /> project. <br /> ENTERED this /t14—day of 1984. <br /> t <br /> Mayor <br /> City Clerk <br />
