CITY OF BATESVILLE <br /> RESOLUTION NUMBER �z4 -? -2— <br /> WHEREAS , <br /> ZWHEREAS , the Department of Housing and Urban Development is <br /> authorized to make Urban Development Action Grants to small cities <br /> under Section 119 of the Housing and Community Development Act of <br /> 1974, as amended; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has been determined eligible <br /> in accordance with elibibility requirements to apply for the Urban <br /> Development Action Grant program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the city has conducted the necessary public hearings <br /> requesting citizen participation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the city has established economic development goals <br /> to expand employment opportun . '.ies and to attract new businesses/ <br /> industries which maintain a stable , year-round skilled work force; <br /> THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Batesville, <br /> Arkansas , that the Mayor is authorized to file an application with the <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development for an Urhan Development <br /> Action Grant on behalf of Aero-Fab, and to represent the city in all <br /> matters related to the Urban Development Action Grant Program. <br /> i rmiS hirre Mayor <br /> Date <br /> ATTESTED: <br /> (j <br /> City Clerk <br />
