RESOLUTION NO. 3/-1 - I I -2 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF SUPPORT <br /> OF FAIR HOUSING LAWS BY <br /> THE CITY OF BATESVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 provides <br /> for Fair Housing throughout the United States; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville will support the Fair Housing <br /> laws by means of dispersing Fair Housing literature and posters <br /> throughout the Community and notifying the various housing entities <br /> in the area of the city's support; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville recognizes the need for a <br /> local contact person to provide personalized Fair Housing information. <br /> THEREFORE, be it resolved that the city council of the City <br /> of Batesville supports the Fair Housing Laws and appoints the City <br /> Clerk as the Fair Housing/Equal Opportunity Officer for the city. <br /> Entered this 3 day of � � � 1984. <br /> ayor <br /> Clerk <br />
