0 • <br /> penalty shall be added to the bill. If bills are not paid on or before the thirtieth(30`h)day, <br /> water service to the premises shall be disconnected from the system. In the event water <br /> service to any premises is disconnected, a service charge of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) in <br /> addition to all other charges payable shall be paid for reconnection to the system. If any such <br /> delinquent charges are paid at the time the service person goes onto the premises to <br /> disconnect services, a charge of Ten Dollars ($10.00), rather than Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) <br /> shall be paid. <br /> In the event that a user of the sewer system which obtains its water service from a <br /> water association or water improvement district becomes delinquent for thirty (30) days in <br /> the payment of its bill for sewer services, the Commission shall request termination of the <br /> delinquent sewer user's water service under the provisions of Act 717 of 1995. In such event <br /> the same penalties shall apply as if the sewer user had obtained its water service from the <br /> municipality. <br /> Section 4: That the City Council hereby finds and declares that the above sewer <br /> rates are fair, reasonable and necessary minimum rates, and will produce revenues at least <br /> sufficient for the reasonable operation and maintenance expenses of the sewage treatment <br /> works, including establishing and maintaining a reserve, and providing depreciation funds for <br /> replacement or repairs of sewer facilities. <br /> Section 5: That the provisions of this Ordinance are separable and if a section, <br /> phrase or provision shall be declared invalid, such declaration shall not affect the validity of <br /> the remainder of this Ordinance. <br /> Section 6: That all ordinances or parts of other ordinances in conflict herewith are <br /> hereby repealed. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th day �'of February, 2001 <br /> APPROVED <br /> City of Batesville, Arkansas <br /> oe Biard, Nayor <br /> Attest: <br /> �n . <br /> (W <br /> Denise Johnston, Clerk <br /> 3 <br />
