J • O R D I N A N C E N O AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the following described tract of land is currently zoned R-1; and WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has recommended that said tract described below be zoned C-2 , contingent upon the parking requirements under the City of Batesville Zoning Code being met; and WHEREAS, the parking requirements of the City of Batesville Zoning Code have been met; NOW, THEREFORE, the following tract of land should be, and hereby is zoned C-2 : A survey of a parcel of land in Independence County, Arkansas, Section 14 , Township 13 North, Range 6 West, described as follows: Beginning at an iron pipe in the North line of the Southeast Quarter of above Section 416. 7 feet West of the Northeast Corner of above Southeast Quarter, The Northeast Corner of Parcel Being Surveyed. Thence South 19 degrees 21 minutes West 227 feet to an iron pipe in North Right-of-Way line South Highway 69 , the Southeast Corner of Parcel; Thence North 70 degrees 49 minutes West 170 feet along above North Right of Way to an iron pipe, the Southwest corner of parcel; Thence North 15 degrees 26 minutes East 158 . 8 feet to an iron pipe, The Northwest Corner of parcel; Thence North 88 degrees 00 minutes East 193 . 5 feet along the North line of above Southeast Quarter to Point of Beginning, Containing 3/4 acres, more or less.
