RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION 111R111IN1 THE WILLINGNESS 01 THE CITY 01 BATESVILLE TO <br /> (W MATCH FEDERAL AID URBAN SYSTEM MONIES FOR THE DOWNTOWN SIGNALIZATION <br /> PROJECT. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville understands additional Federal-aid Urban <br /> System funds are available for traffic control signalization on city streets <br /> at 100% Federal participation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that the top priority signalization <br /> project is at the intersections of Main and Broad Street, Main and 3rd Street, <br /> Main and 4th Street, College and Broad Street and Boswell and Broad Street; <br /> and WHEREAS, the City understands that, when applicable, their matching por- <br /> tion of this project will be 25% of the total cost of appraisal and acqui- <br /> sition or right-of-way, relocation services, and adjustment of man-made im- <br /> provements, including utilities; <br /> (W NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATES- <br /> VILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: <br /> SECTION I: The City of Batesville will participate in accordance with <br /> its designated responsibility in this project. <br /> SECTION II: The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br /> appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction <br /> of the improvements on city streets. <br /> SECTION III : The City of Batesville pledges its full support and hereby <br /> authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate <br /> action to construct this project. <br /> THIS RESOLUTION adopted this +L day of 1987. <br /> ti <br /> I f A <br /> (W <br /> ATTEST: <br />
