i <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF <br /> BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY CONCERNING THE <br /> ANNEXATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO THE CITY LIMITS. <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville City Council has determined that the best interest <br /> of the citizens of Batesville will be served by the annexation of Kennedy Park <br /> along with other property south of White River, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby <br /> authorized to sign, on behalf of the city, a petition for the annexation of <br /> the property and to take any other action necessary to accomplish the annex- <br /> ation. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1 � � day of 1987. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> 9,0i A&;a <br /> m Shirrell , Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Larry Willi ms, City Clerk <br />
