d� <br /> �o <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> WHEREAS, Arkansas' State Purchasing Law /A. C. A. 1987 Section 19-I1-201\ <br /> was signed into law by Governor Bill Clinton on March 21^ 1979; and <br /> WHEREAS, effective July l, 1879, Arkansas' State Purchasing Law provides <br /> the opportunity for counties, cities, towns or school districts to participate <br /> in contracts of the State of Arkansas, Department of Finance and Administra- <br /> tion, Office of State Purchasing, for the purchase Of supplies, services, <br /> equipment and certain materials; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF B8TE3VIL[E, THAT: <br /> l, Jim Shirrell , Mayor of the City of Batesville, hereby requests <br /> authority in the name of the City of Batesville to participate in state con- <br /> tracts which the Department Of Finance and Administration, Office of State <br /> Purchasing, has entered into for the purchase of supplies, services, equipment <br /> � <br /> and certain materials pursuant to the State Purchasing Law and Amendment 54 <br /> to the Arkansas Constitution. <br /> 2, Jim Shirr8ll , Mayor of the City of Batesville, is hereby authorized <br /> to agree in the name of the City of Batesville to be bound by all contract <br /> terms and conditions as the Department of Finance and Administration, Office <br /> of State Purchasing, prescribes. Such terms and conditions may include a <br /> reasonable fee to cover the administrative costs which the Department of <br /> Finance and Administration incurs as a result of the City Of Batesville par- <br /> ticipating in d contract. Further, that Jim 5hirr87l , Mayor of the City Of <br /> Batesville, does hereby agree to be bound by all such terms and conditions. <br /> 3.
