RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Batesville has discussed the <br /> transportation needs of the City; and. <br /> WHEREAS, road improvements are essential for the healthy <br /> development of the city, and future growth will impact the <br /> transportation system of the Batesville area; and. <br /> WHEREAS, it is recognized that developing future goals and <br /> objectives for the development of Batesville is the <br /> responsibility of the local officials and the general public of <br /> the City. <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Mayor is authorized to <br /> request technical assistance from the Arkansas State Highway and <br /> (W Transportation Department and the White River Planning and <br /> Development District to conduct a Transportation Planning <br /> Program and Master Street Plan Study.
