RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, Banquet Food's Corporation desires to give the City of Batesville <br /> a certain piece of property, description and copy of deed attached; <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas has previously expressed <br /> its desire to acquire this property as a replacement street for Southerland Drive; <br /> WHEREAS, Batesville City Council feels the general welfare of the citizens <br /> of the City of Batesville will best be served if this property is accepted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, INDEPENDENCE <br /> COUNTY, ARKANSAS, does accept title to this property and that the Mayor and City Clerk, <br /> for the City of Batesville, are instructed to proceed forthwith to take all necessary <br /> steps to vest title of this property in the name of the City of Batesville. <br /> ADOPTED this 23rd day of January, 1979. <br /> Peyton $olden, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> C. 7 <br /> Larry K. 4411T—iiims, <br />
