RESOLUTION <br /> NO . �3 <br /> WHEREAS , the City of Batesville has created five (5) <br /> reserved parking spaces on Broad Street near the Independence <br /> County Courthouse for the use of the Sheriff's Office and <br /> the County Judge 's Office, and <br /> WHEREAS , the County Judge 's Office and the Sheriff' s Office <br /> are now occupying the old Library Building and the need no <br /> longer exists for these five (5) parking spaces on Broad Street, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, there is a great need on the part of the people <br /> doing business at the Courthouse to be able to park for a <br /> short period of time while transacting business at the Court- <br /> house, and <br /> NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the five (5) reserved <br /> parking space signs on Broad Street for the Judge 's and <br /> Sheriff 's Office be changed to 30 minute parking spaces for <br /> the convenience of the people in the use of the County Court- <br /> house facilities , and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the five (5) parking spaces <br /> will be available to the public on a first come first serve <br /> basis . <br /> Passed and approved this 10th day of April, 1979. <br /> PAYOR. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> CITY CL K <br />
