�w RESOLUTION NO. '7) OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS A RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS CERTAIN LANDS BELONGING TO THE GAP ROAD CHURCH OF CHRIST WHEREAS, on the fifth day of March, 1979, the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas, entered its Order annexing to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, the following described lands: A part of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section Fourteen (14) , Township Thirteen (13) North, Range Six (6) West, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section, Township and Range; thence East along the South side of the Sulphur Rock-Batesville Road a dis- tance of 94 feet; thence South along the West side of the WPA road a distance of 283 feet; thence West 154 feet to the line between the East Half of the West H&I.f of the said Southeast Quarter; thence North 322 feet on said line to the point of beginning. WHEREAS that prior to the entry of the Order of Annexation by the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas, the notice of the Petition for Annexation having been filed and published in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas; and WHEREAS there having been no objection to the annexation of said lands either prior to or within thirty (30) days after the entry of the Order of Annexation; and WHEREAS, it is now proper and desirable that said lands be annexed to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, therefore, be it hereby resolved that the above described land should be, and they are hereby annexed to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, and from and after this date all of the inhabitants thereof shall have and enjoy all of the rights and privileges of citizens of the City of Batesville, Arkansas.
