Aft <br /> ATTACHMENT #1 <br /> RESOLUTION # 7 Z <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville, Arkansas, seeks to construct a <br />' Municipal Waste Disposal and Energy Production Incinerator System, <br /> r <br /> and desired to have state assistance where possible; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to obtain the funds necessary to construct the <br /> f f <br /> system, it is necessary to obtain a grant from the appropriate agency <br /> of the State of Arkansas; and <br /> WHEREAS, the plans for construction of the system have been prepared <br /> and the price therefore has been established; and <br />' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas, has <br /> secured an ORC grant for supplementing the constructionof <br /> the system <br /> and anticipates utilizing local funds and a bond issue to complete the <br /> I <br /> system, <br /> 1 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Batesville, Arkansas, that the Mayor of said city or other persons acting <br /> by or under his direction, are hereby authorized to make application <br /> through the Water, Sewer, and Solid Waste Management System Finance <br /> Program to the Department of Local Services for a grant in the amount of <br /> $�a� �.� to assist in the construction of the system, therefore, such <br /> application is to be submitted as expeditiously as possible. <br /> PASSED: <br /> APPROVED: Z��4�z <br /> Mayor <br />
