RESOLUTION No. 752 <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING 1981 BUDGET TO PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT OF EX-MAYOR PEYTON <br /> (W GOLDEN RETIREMENT: <br /> WHEREAS, Peyton Golden resigned as Mayor on March 6, 1981; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Golden had been Mayor of Batesville in excess of ten (10) years. <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Golden is past the age of sixty (60) years of age; and, <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ark. Stat. Ann. §19-1035 Ex-Mayor Golden is entitled to <br /> 11 payment of one-half (1 2) thesalarypayable at the time of his retirement <br /> until death. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, <br /> ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: That the 1981 Budget is hereby amended to provide for payment of <br /> retirement benefits to Peyton Golden at the rate of one-half (1/2) of his <br /> salary as of March 6, 1981 as provided for by Ark.
