RESOLUTION NO._%O <br /> A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD ON A PROPOSED <br /> ORDINANCE INCREASING THE BATESVILLE UTILITY RATES. <br /> WHEREAS, the Batesville Utilities Department has proposed <br /> an ordiance increasing rates for water and sewer usage ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Batesville realizes <br /> that any increase in the utility rate will effect every house- <br /> hold and business in the city and the City Council desires <br /> that all persons be given an opportunity to be heard on this <br /> matter; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Batesville has deter- <br /> mined that a public hearing is in the city' s and its people ' s <br /> best interests. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1 . That a public hearing shall be held on April 30 , <br /> 1981;7' City Hall, in order that any and all persons be heard <br /> on a proposed ordinance increasing water and sewer rates. <br /> SECTION 2 .
