RESOLUTION # V Q <br /> M <br /> A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1982 BUDGET TO PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT OF <br /> EXPENSES AND SALARIES OF THREE (3) ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER FIREMEN <br /> WHEREAS , the 1982 budget provides for a monthly expenditure of <br /> Fourteen Hundred Dollars ($1, 400. 00) for the expenses in salaries <br /> of eighteen (18) volunteer firemen; and, <br /> WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas has <br /> determined that there is a need for three (3) additional voluntee <br /> firemen increasing the strength of the Batesville Fire Department <br /> to twenty-one (21) volunteer firemen; and <br /> WHEREAS , the total monthly appropriation for the 1982 budget for <br /> payment of volunteer firemen should be One Thousand Six Hundred <br /> Thirty-three Dollars and Seventeen Cents ($1, 633 . 17) . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF1 <br /> BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1: That the 1982 budget is hereby amended to provide for <br /> payment of three (3) additional volunteer firemen bringing the <br /> total of volunteer firemen up to the number of twenty-one (21) <br /> volunteer firemen and the 1982 monthly budget appropriation is <br /> hereby increased to the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred Thirty- <br /> three Dollars and Seventeen Cents ($1, 633 . 17) . <br /> ADOPTEE' this day of 1982 . <br /> APPROVED : <br /> _ <br /> SHMELL, MAYOR <br /> ATTEST : <br /> LARRY WI LAMS, CITY CLERK <br />
