N RESOLUTION NO. OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS A RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS CERTAIN LANDS BELONGING TO THE BATESVILLE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH WHEREAS, on the eighteenth day of August, 1982, the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas, entered its Order annexing to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, the following des- cribed lands: A part of the E2 of the SE4 of Sec. 14, T13N, R6W, described as follows: Begin at the NW corner of the EZ of the SE4 aforesaid, and run South on the line between said E2 and the A of said SE4 a distance of 322 feet (Being the SW corner of the Gap Road Church of Christ 1 � , �65 property) for the Place of Beginning. Thence AL E 154 feet to the W line of Mountain Gap Road; Z:72 ' thence run Southerly along the W right-of-way line of Mountain Gap Road 489. 20 feet, to a point; thence West 247 . 30 feet to the W line of the E2 SE4; thence N along said line 470 feet, to the Place of Beginning. WHEREAS, that prior to the entry of the Order of Annexa- tion by the County Court of Independence County, Arkansas, the notice of the Petition for Annexation having been filed and pub- lished in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas; and WHEREAS, there having been no objection to the annexatio of said lands either prior to or within thirty (30) days after the entry of the Order of Annexation; and WHEREAS, it is now proper and desirable that said lands be annexed to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, therefore, be it hereby resolved that the above described land should be, and they are hereby annexed to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, and from and after this date all of the inhabitants thereof shall have and enjoy all of the rights and privileges of citizens of the City of Batesville, Arkansas.
