R,_i-SO7_',UT I :,N <br /> At a meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Batesville, Arkansas, duly held on the _Zg:2 dal of <br /> June, 1952, the following Resolution was adorted: <br /> "Whereas , there has been presented to this body <br /> the petition of T .O.Collins and Irene Collin,bLis wife, K.W. <br /> Prickett and Roxana Prickett, his wife, sh@wing that said <br /> Collins and wife are the owners of all of Block 4 of Old Tovn <br /> Al. dition tc, the City of Batesville., Arkansas that lies west of <br /> the right of way of Missouri Pacific Railroad; that said Prickett <br /> and wife are the owners of all of Block 1 to Old Town Addition <br /> to the City of Batesville, Arkansas; said petitioners praying <br /> that the follow!-nportions of streets dividing and adjoining <br /> said properties be abandoned, and title thereto vested in <br /> said petitioners to-wit: <br /> l.Bean Street from its intersection with Main Street <br /> north to Polk Bayou; <br /> 2. That portion of Front Street which lies between <br /> said properties (or either of them) and Polk Bayou. <br /> HE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Clerk give notice <br /> by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper <br /> published in IndependenceCourty, Arkansas advising the property <br /> owners affected that on a day therein named the City Council <br /> will hear said petition and determine whether all abutting <br /> property owners and other persons directly interested have <br /> consented to such abandonment. <br /> By vote of a majority of the members of the City Council <br /> the above resolution was duly adopted. <br /> Attest: mayor <br /> (WI <br /> C�Ty Clerk <br />
