(W <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Whereas, State Highway No. 106 has its beginning at the intersection <br /> of Central Avenue and Baker Street in the City of Batesville, Arkansas, <br /> and runs over and along Baker Street in a Westerly direction to Elsie <br /> Street; and, <br /> Whereas, there are threechurches located at such intersection and <br /> it would be far more practical and would be much less hazardous to re- <br /> designate and re-locate such Highway No. 106 whereby its beginning would <br /> be moved a distance of one block and to the intersection of Central <br /> Avenue and Ross Street in said City and from that point run along doss <br /> Street in such Westerly direction to said Elsie Street; therefore, <br /> Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Batesville, <br /> Arkansas, in regular session assembled on April , 1962, that it <br /> recommend and request the Arkansas Highway Commission to re-designate <br /> and re-locate said Highway No. 106 in accord with the foregoing, and <br /> over and along the herein suggested and reco=i4nded route on Ross <br /> Street; and that a certified copy of this Resolution be duly certified <br /> and transmitted by the City Clerk to the Arkansas Highway Commission. <br />
