RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br /> On this the 25th day of September, 1962, is presented to <br /> the Batesville City Council, the petition of John W. Edwards, et <br /> al, being all of the property owners in Block 6 of Ramsey's <br /> Addition to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, and it appearing <br /> that the purpose of said petition is to secure the vacation of an <br /> alley which bisects Block 6 of Ramsey's Addition, under Arkansas <br /> Statutes 19-3824, et seq., and it further appearing that the City <br /> Council has been duly advised as to the purpose of said petition <br /> and the nature of the claims of the petitioners . <br /> Wherefore, it is ordered that the City Clerk of the City <br /> of Batesville, Arkansas, in conformity with Arkansas Statutes 19- <br /> 3826 give notice of a meeting to be held at the Batesville City <br /> Hall on October 23, 1962, at 7: 30 P .M. for the purpose of con- <br /> sidering said petition and said notice shall be published once a <br /> week for two consectutive weeks in the Batesville Guard; that said <br /> notice shall state the name of the persons who have signed the <br /> petition, the name of the street or alley or the portion thereof to <br /> be vacated and in general give notice of said hearing. It is the <br /> intent of the City Council to fully comply with Arkansas Statutes <br /> with reference to the vacation of an alley under the above styled <br /> statutes or any other applicable statute. <br /> Roy Ro , Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> yC1jd���_ <br />
