THE CITY CODICIL OI' BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville is in need of short mange <br /> improvements to increase traffic flow and safety on its major <br /> street system; and <br /> WHEREAS, numerous planning studies , including the 1965 Batesville <br /> Highway Traffic S-Ludiv, have been conducted for the City, which will <br /> provide support information for a Traffic Operations Program to <br /> Increase Capacity and Safety; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Batesville wishes to express its desire <br /> and interest to be selected for a TOPICS study; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CODICIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS: <br /> Section 1. That the City of Batesville , through its City Council , <br /> hereby authorizes the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with the <br /> Arkansas Highway Department pertaining to the conduct of a TOPICS study <br /> for Batesville. <br /> Section 2. That the City of Batesville pledges its full support <br /> and cooperation to the Arkansas Highway Department and to all other <br /> agencies involved in the pi�,oject. <br /> Section 3. That the City of Batesville will participate in <br /> accordance with its designated responsibility in the implementation of <br /> the recommendations provided in the approved report. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of February, 1969. <br /> (W <br /> Attest: <br /> Citi Clerk <br />
