(W <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION <br /> SOUTHWEST REGION <br /> FORT WORTH, TEXAS <br /> Page 1 of 3 pages <br /> Batesville Regional Airport <br /> Batesville, Arkansas <br /> Project No. 7-05-0004-01 <br /> Contract No. DOT FA 71 SW-1143 <br /> ,AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO GRANT AGREEMENT <br /> ,WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (hereinafter referred to as <br /> the "FAA") has determined it to be in the interest of the United States <br /> that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting for and on behalf of <br /> the United States, and the City of Batesville, Arkansas, acting by and <br /> through the Batesville Aviation Commission (hereinafter referred to as <br /> the "Sponsor"), accepted by said Sponsor on the 26th day of May 1971 <br /> and amended by Amendment No. 1 dated July 25, 1972, be further amended <br /> as hereinafter provided. <br /> NOW 'T'HEREF'ORE WITNESSETH: <br /> That in consideration of the benefits to accrue to the parties hereto, <br /> the United States of America on the one part and the Sponsor on the other <br /> part do hereby mutually agree that the said Grant Agreement shall be and <br /> hereby is amended= <br /> 1. By revising the description of the project as set forth in <br /> the second paragraph, Page 1 of Amendment No. 1 to the Grant <br /> Agreement to read as follows: <br /> Acquire land (fee simple title or other property interests <br /> satisfactory to the Administrator in and to Tracts 3201, <br /> 3202, 3203, 3PO4, 3205, 3302, 3303 and 3304 as shown on <br /> property map Exhibit "A"); construct E-W runway 150' x <br /> 6000' including work necessary to provide runway visibility <br /> and grading for partial extended runway safety area with <br /> waste material; install medium intensity runway lights on <br /> E-W runway, lighted wind cone and segmented circle; con- <br /> struct parallel and connecting taxiways for E-W runway; <br /> perform pavement marking incidental to construction; <br /> install boundary fencing. <br />
