RESOLUTION NO . CP / <br /> WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council <br /> of the City of Batesville, Arkansas , a petition by WESLEY J . <br /> KETZ, JR. , Trustee, by H. David Blair, his attorney, to vacate <br /> and abandon certain unopened streets within the City of Batesville , <br /> Arkansas; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the provisions of Act No . 17 of the Arkansas <br /> Acts of 1945 direct that the City, by resolution, fix a day for <br /> the hearing of such petition and direct the City Clerk to give <br /> notice thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BATESVILL , <br /> ARKANSAS, that : <br /> 1 . The petition of WESLEY J . KETZ, JR. , Trustee, <br /> to abandon and vacate certain streets , viz, portions of West <br /> Rand Road, East Rand Road, Peters Street and Blake Street as are <br /> contiguous to Blocks 9 , 10 and 11 of Riverview Addition to the <br /> City of Batesville, ARkansas , be and hereby is set for hearing <br /> before the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas on <br /> the day of 1975 at o ' clock P .M. <br /> 2 . That the City Clerk be and hereby is directed to <br /> give notice of such meeting by publication once per week for <br /> two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in and having <br /> a general circulation within the City of Batesville, Arkansas, <br /> such notice to state the name of the person signing the petition, <br /> the names of the streets and portions thereof to be vacated and <br /> abandoned, and to advise all persons that upon the date set forth <br /> herein the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas <br /> will hear and determine whether such streets shall be vacated. <br /> Dated this day of —1-vKut , 1975 . <br /> P yton golden, Mayor <br /> s <br />
