STATE OF THE CITY <br /> Mayor Biard furnished the council with a copy of the "State of The City" as <br /> required by law. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Mayor Biard asked the council to approve the appointment of Fred Wann <br /> to replace Chaney Taylor, Jr. to the Planning Commission. Mr. Taylor resigned <br /> his appointment after being elected as a State Representative. Mr. Wann's term <br /> will expire June 10, 2000. Councilmember Insell moved to approve the <br /> appointment and Councilmember Bone seconded. All voted for. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTIONS <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for John McCuin, Resolution <br /> #99-25-1, in the amount of$300.00. Councilmember Gaither moved to accept <br /> the resolution and Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned. Councilmember Insell seconded and all voted for. <br /> JOE M.
