The council considered a request for heirs of the Oscar Neil Vanemburg Estate <br /> for an easement on West Rich Street in Batesville. Councilmember Cargill moved to <br /> approve the easement request and Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> DISCUSSION ON TRUCKS USING 20TH STREET AS THRU TRAFFIC <br /> Since the stoplight has been put in at Harrison and 20th Streets heavy trucks <br /> have been using Myers and 20th Streets as a truck route. Mayor Biard said he would <br /> like to put signs beginning at Sidney Street at Myers to read "No Through Heavy Truck <br /> Traffic". Councilmember Cargill moved to place the signs and Councilmember Gaither <br /> seconded. All voted for. <br /> COUNCILMEMBER OPINIONS ON KEEPING FORMER RADIO STATION BUILDING <br /> AT RIVERSIDE PARK OR TEARING IT DOWN <br /> The council discussed the fact that the use of the old radio station building is <br /> restricted under the guidelines of the grant the city acquired to purchase the property. <br /> The council decided to wait to make a decision on whether to tear down the building. <br /> OPINIONS ON RETAINING CITY PARKING LOT ON FOURTH STREET <br /> Councilmember Gaither moved to stop the lease agreement on the Fourth Street <br /> parking lot. Councilmember Pectol seconded and all voted for. <br /> REVIEW BILLS <br /> After a review of the bills, Councilmember Insell moved to pay the bills and <br /> Councilmember Gaither seconded. All voted for. <br />
