STREET DEDICATION REQUEST FOR SAWMILL ADDITION <br /> Councilmember Carpenter introduced an ordinance that would accept the <br /> extension of Mill Run Trial, Trestle Court and Equity Court located in the Sawmill <br /> Subdivision into the City's Street Maintenance Program. Mayor Biard read the <br /> ordinance in full and Councilmember Ford moved to suspend the rules and place <br /> the ordinance on second reading by title only. Councilmember Carpenter <br /> seconded and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The Mayor read the <br /> ordinance for the second reading. Councilmember Ford moved to further <br /> suspend the rules and place the ordinance third reading by title only. <br /> Councilmember Watkins seconded and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 <br /> against. The Mayor read the ordinance for the final reading and Councilmember <br /> Cargill moved to adopt the ordinance. Councilmember Carpenter seconded and <br /> the roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given #2001-1-3. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter moved to adopt the emergency clause and <br /> Councilmember Cargill seconded. All voted for. <br /> CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Jean Bearden for <br /> $100.00, certificate #2001-23-1. Councilmember Watkins moved to accept the <br /> resolution and Councilmember Gaither seconded. All voted for. <br /> There being no further business, Councilmember Mitchum moved that the <br /> meeting be adjourned. Councilmember Carpenter seconded and all voted for. <br /> JOE M.
