Councilmember Bone introduced an ordinance that that would amend Section XI of the <br /> City's Zoning Code. The amendment is related to off street parking,loading and landscaping. <br /> Mayor Biard read the ordinance in full. After a discussion and a couple of recommended <br /> changes,the Mayor said the ordinance would be placed on the agenda for the next meeting for <br /> the second reading. <br /> CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF BATESVILLE'S ZONING <br /> CODE CONCERNING HISTORICAL DISTRICTS <br /> Councilmember Mitchum introduced an ordinance that would change the City's zoning <br /> code concerning historical districts. The Mayor read the ordinance in full and opened the floor <br /> for discussion. After a discussion,the Mayor said the ordinance would be placed on the next <br /> agenda for the second reading. <br /> THREE PUBLIC HEARINGS TO CONSIDER CONDEMNATION OF THREE <br /> PARCELS OF PROPERTY <br /> The council considered three properties for condemnation. 1) 1108 15th Street,owned by <br /> Mrs.Gerdy Cason. Councilmember Watkins moved to proceed with condemnation procedures. <br /> Councilmember Pectol seconded and all vote foi. 2)Corner of 5d'&Vine Streets,owned by <br /> Doug and Mike Brodie. Mr.Butch Ketz was present to represent the family and asked for <br /> additional time to bring the property up to meet code. Mr.Ketz asked for 60 days. The council <br /> agreed to grant the additional time.13)_1500 Block off Case Street,owned by Ancient Free and -- commented[DMJ1]:Brodie Property <br /> Accepted Mason of America. Councilmember Watkins moved to proceed with the <br /> condemnation proceedings. Councilmember Cargill seconded and all voted for. <br />
