Mayor read the ordinance for the second reading and Councilmember Ford moved to <br /> further suspend the rules and place the ordinance on the third reading. Councilmember <br /> Bone seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The Mayor read the <br /> ordinance for the final reading and Councilmember Ford moved to adopt the ordinance. <br /> Councilmember Bone seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The <br /> ordinance was given number 2001-8-1. <br /> CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE 2001 BUDGET <br /> Mayor Biard read an ordinance that would amend the 2001 budget. <br /> Councilmember Watkins moved to suspend the rules and place the ordinance on the <br /> second reading. Councilmember Cargill seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 <br /> against. The Mayor read the ordinance for the second reading and Councilmember Ford <br /> moved to further suspend rules and place the ordinance on the final reading. <br /> Councilmember Watkins seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given number 2001-8-2 <br /> FINAL CONSIDERATION FO DEMOLITION CONDEMNED PROPERTIES <br /> Code Enforcement Officer Chad McClure showed the council pictures of two <br /> properties that the council has previously condemned and asking for the abatement of the <br /> properties. The properties are located at 15th and Bates Streets, 14th and Case Streets. <br /> Councilmember Watkins moved to abate the properties and Councilmember Pectol <br /> seconded. All voted for. <br />
