Water Association system lying within the city limits of Batesville. Councilmember <br /> Cargill introduced and Mayor Biard read the resolution. Councilmember Cargill moved <br /> to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Bone seconded. All voted for. The <br /> resolution was given#2002-2-1-R. <br /> METER REQUEST ON MITCHELL ROAD <br /> The council considered a meter request for 550 Mitchell Road outside the city <br /> limits. The property is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Copher. There will be no cost to <br /> the city for the installation. Councilmember Cargill moved to grant the meter request and <br /> Councilmember Watkins seconded. All voted for. <br /> ORDINANCE TO RE-ZONE PROPERTIES ON SIDNEY STREET NEAR <br /> WHITE RIVER MEDICAL CENTER <br /> Councilmember Gaither introduced and Mayor Biard read an ordinance that <br /> would re-zone certain property of James Moore, Patricia Summons, Vernon King, J.L. <br /> Dozier, Bessie Holder, Erin Barnett, Diane McClure and Paul Holland from R-2 to C-1. <br /> Councilmember Watkins moved to suspend the rules and place the ordinance on the <br /> second reading. Councilmember Cargill seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 <br /> against. The Mayor read the ordinance for the second reading and Councilmember <br /> Carpenter moved to further suspend the rules and place the ordinance on the final <br /> reading. Councilmember Cargill seconded and the roll call count was 8 for and 0 against. <br /> The Mayor read the ordinance for the third and final reading. Councilmember Gaither <br /> moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Carpenter seconded. The roll call <br /> count was 8 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given 42002-2-3. <br />
