MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> JUNE 11, 2002 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on June 11, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Joe Biard presided over the meeting. Councilmember <br /> Watkins gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following Councilmembers answered <br /> present: R.L. Carpenter, Robert Ford, Gerald Gaither, Jim Mitchum, Jerry Pectol, Paula <br /> Terrell and Jim Watkins. Councilmember Cargill was absent. Also present were the City <br /> Clerk Denise Johnston and the City Attorney Scott Stalker. <br /> Councilmember Ford moved to approve the minutes from the last meeting. <br /> Councilmember Pectol seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Ford moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Watkins seconded and all voted for. <br /> UTILITY DEPARTMENT REQUEST FOR TWO METERS OUTSIDE THE <br /> CITY <br /> Mr. Larry Tharnish, Utility Manager, addressed the council requesting two meters <br /> outside the city limits. The requests were being made on behalf of Don and Pam Stewart <br /> on Gainer Fairy Road and Harold Winkle on Mitchell Road. Both requests are for new <br /> homes being built. Councilmember Watkins moved to approve the request and <br /> Councilmember Gaither seconded. All voted for. <br /> REQUEST BY PRO-DENTEC TO ANNEX PROPERTY AT 500 WHITE DRIVE <br /> Councilmember Watkins introduced an ordinance that would accept the <br /> annexation of certain territory into the city limits of the City of Batesville. The land is <br /> owned by Pro-Dentec and located at 500 White Drive. Mayor Biard asked Mr. Ed <br /> Deskin about the plans that Pro-Dentec had for the Industrial Property that they own <br />
